Bachelor of Arts in Digital Media Marketing

Digital media marketing graduates have the skillset to produce marketing campaigns from strategic planning stages to design and distribution through digital channels. Combining these skills with 萝莉原创鈥檚 commitment to service and real-world learning gives graduates a special edge.


Employers are looking for individuals skilled in digital marketing, digital advertising, SEO, social media and content creation. According to Burning Glass Technologies, an analytics software company that provides real-time data on job demand and labor market trends, four in 10 marketing job openings now call for digital marketing skills.


萝莉原创's Digital Media Marketing program was ranked No. 4 in TechGuide's . TechGuide's ranking process considers factors such as tuition, student-to-faculty ratio, admission and graduation rates, and alumni success.

Getting Started

General Notes
  • A minimum of 123 credits are required for graduation.
  • Credits earned for COM 100 and MAT 100 do not count toward the 123 credits required for graduation; however, COM 100 students may petition for elective credit.
  • Where appropriate, courses required for the major can be used to satisfy General Education requirements. However, the credits earned for these courses are applied to either Gen Ed requirements or the major, not both.
  • Paths of Knowledge coursework may count towards major or minor requirements, but may not fulfill a second Mid-Level Liberal Arts Exploration requirement.
  • Students are expected to follow the catalog requirements for General Education, the major, and additional requirements.
  • A minor or second major within the areas listed under Paths of Knowledge automatically fulfills that area of the Gen Ed requirements.
Application Instructions


Through a rolling admission process, prospective students may apply to 萝莉原创 at any time. Multiple start dates throughout the year allow accepted students to begin a program of study at an accommodating time. We continually review applications and accept students for each of the six term starts (August, October, February, March, May, and July).


Keeping on track is important throughout the process. We encourage you to work with an admission team member to submit all materials and meet all deadlines. Our dedicated team will work directly with you to identify the best options that work for you and your unique situation. Once your application is complete, you will not have to wait long for a decision. We continually review applications and notify students as soon as a decision has been made.

The Digital Media Marketing online program aims to provide remote students with comprehensive learning experiences, practical skills, and networking opportunities, mirroring the changing dynamics of the modern workforce.

鈥dobe Suite: Students will have access to the Adobe Suite and will work on the same projects as 鈥渋n-person鈥 students.
鈥ervice-learning classes: These classes will enable students to work on projects from home. They will have the opportunity to collaborate with nonprofits for service-learning projects, such as graphic design, public relations and advertising.

Opportunities for Majors

This club provides 萝莉原创 with a drama program; the area with a source of entertainment; the students with an activity and somewhere to express themselves; and as another way for the University to give back to the community. All of the members of the 萝莉原创 community are invited to participate.
 

The Washington Center Experience

萝莉原创 students have an opportunity to earn college credit by spending a semester or summer in Washington, D.C. where they serve as interns in a congressional office, government agency, major corporation, newspaper or news network, or agencies devoted to legal affairs, international relations, or business and economics. They also may intern with one of several non-profit groups dealing with the environment, women鈥檚 issues, the arts, education, science, or labor relations among others. Participants are customarily juniors or seniors who have achieved grade point averages of 2.5 or better and who have the endorsement of the appropriate academic area. In addition to their internship, students select one seminar dealing with the arts and humanities, communication, public policy, the legal system, business, and government. Interested students should see their academic advisor.
 

萝莉原创's college newspaper provides information and entertainment to the community, covering issues on campus and in the local communities. The 萝莉原创n provides an open forum for ideas and opinions through editorials, letters-to-the-editor, news stories, features, interviews and reviews and gives 萝莉原创 students the opportunity to gain practical journalistic experience.
